About me

You are the Captain of your ship,

I am your compass, there to guide you on your journey!

That said, I am here to provide you with practical, achievable and realistic advice to support you in your fitness journey. 

​

I have a fully integrated approach towards helping you achieve your goals and I will spend time with you to look at your lifestyle, habits and objectives.  Armed with this knowledge, I will help you develop and implement new strategies to guide you towards success.

​

I also know and understand first-hand the challenges both mentally and physically, which affect the older client and I will help you work around these changes supporting you along the way. 

​

You will find that I am quite down to earth and easy to approach, I am supportive but will push you and we will have some fun along the way. 

​

I give an exclusive service and my full attention, including regular support and advice throughout your journey.

I offer both gym-based instruction (held a JD Gym Wythenshawe) and a mobile Personal Fitness Training service (local areas covered).

What to expect from me

  • Personal Fitness Goal Setting Session – We will discuss where you are now and what your end goal is as well as discussing anything that may get in the way of your goal. 

  • 1 to 1 tailored fitness programme aimed specifically at your goals.

  • Generic full body fitness programme to do on your own, either at home or at the gym.

  • Diet, Nutrition and Lifestyle advice to support you on your fitness journey.

  • Regular support and advice throughout your journey to ensure your stay on track.

  • Mindset strategies.

  • Regular challenges outside the gym, which are fun and help you towards your fitness goal.

  • Help to remove those barriers and limiting beliefs that get in the way.

  • HIIT and Circuit training

  • Gym Fitness Instruction

  • Mobile Personal Fitness Training Session

Prices

On your first session, I will familiarise you with some basic exercises that you will use regularly going forward. 

 

I will also review your goals and conduct some fitness tests and measurements in order to create a baseline and get an understanding of your current fitness level. 

 

Armed with this knowledge I will then create a plan to address your unique goals and help you make progressions over the future weeks and months to build your fitness level and achieve your goals.

What about my diet?

I will look at your current diet and advise ways to improve in order to help you reach your goals.

 

Diet and nutrition is essential for reducing fat and changing body composition. 

 

You may have the best defined six pack in the world, but if there’s a layer of fat covering it, you’re not going to see it.  Remember, behind every layer of fat, there’s toned muscles just trying to get out!

​

It's important to know that you can’t burn fat solely from your belly (known as spot reduction) by doing sit ups.  Losing weight is a whole-body process.

​

Increasing muscle has a knock-on effect that helps you keep excess weight off.  Your body becomes a metabolic machine because muscle tissue burns more calories than fat tissue, even at rest – WIN, WIN.

 

If you’re not eating the right food to underpin your fitness journey, then all your efforts will go unnoticed.

 

Training is not just about your workouts in the gym, it continues when you get home.

Do I have to be a member of JD Gym?

Personal Fitness Training sessions take place at JD Gym on Southmoor Road, Wythenshawe M23 9DS.

​

You can take advantage of the best cardio and strength equipment as well as a lovely sauna.  There’s also plenty of free parking and a Metro stop right outside.  All of this is included for a One, No Contract Price.  If you would like more information then please click on the link:  JD GYM, Wythenshawe
